Virtually every outdoor activity is possible in the Machynlleth area and it was only a few weeks before this page was written that a certain member of staff was seen downhill skiing within view of the car-park! There are, however, no current plans to develop Machynlleth as a ski-resort - the weather's just too warm as a rule....

You're not stuck for indoor activities either with a popular leisure centre, galleries and shops and an auditorium all within 5 minutes easy walk of the White Lion.
