Facilities at the White Lion Hotel

The hotel offers a range of rooms, ensuite or standard, for a range of prices (see Tariff link). All rooms are tastefully decorated with antique pine furniture, and have hospitality trays, alarm clocks and remote-controlled colour TV.

Breakfast is served daily between 8.30 and 9.30am, but if you require an earlier time, simply request your needs and we will oblige. Lunch and dinner are served between 12 noon and 9.00pm. You can relax in the informal atmosphere of the bar or alternatively enjoy the quieter surroundings of the restaurant. From our kitchen, we offer a wide range of dishes with a special emphasis on fresh, local produce, such as locally-farmed beef and lamb. The menu, which also includes a choice of vegetarian meals, is supplemented by daily specials which start at £5.00.

The bar doubles as the hotel's reception area. We like to have an emphasis on relaxed informality at the White Lion - after all, you are on holiday! Our staff will meet you at the bar, guide you through registration and show you to your room. If you need help with your luggage, we will be happy to assist.
